Feeding Instructions
Offer your parakeet a fresh portion of Tropical Fruit Gourmet Pellets every day by placing it in a clean bowl. The average serving size for a parakeet is 1 1/2 teaspoons, but adjust the portion so that pellets are available throughout the day. Include Lafeber’s Nutri-Berries as 20% of their total diet and fresh fruits and vegetables as about 20% of their total diet. Always provide plenty of clean, fresh water. For more foraging fun, hide some pellets in other places where your parakeet likes to spend time. Make sure your parakeet finds them within the day!
Preservation
Close the container when not in use. Store in a cool, clean, dry and parasite-free place. Birds love to splash water, so keep the open container away from your feathered friend. To be consumed preferably by the expiration date.
